Expert consultation for mental health clinicians
I offer consultation to mental health professionals who are interested in increasing their capacities for psychoanalytic listening, learning to work more effectively with clients with a variety of difficulties, and working with affect (in both client and therapist). I also work with clinicians interested in the intersection of psychotherapy and Buddhist meditation practice. Some areas of special interest include:

-Tailoring interventions based on the client's particular needs.
-Working in the transference/countertransference matrix.
-Working with strong feeling.
-Erotic transference and countertransference.
-Working with spirituality in psychotherapy.
-Working with clients who meditate.
-Understanding and dismantling strong defensive structures.
-Working with psychedelic integration.
Particular theoretical influences include Winnicott, Bion, Matte Blanco, Laplanche, feminist thinkers, relational psychoanalysts, French psychoanalysis, developmental/attachment theory as well as Buddhist theory and meditation practice.
